CLOSE CHURCH
Founded in 1962, we are an ecumenical
partnership of Methodists and Anglicans
based in Bishop Auckland.
We seek to respect the faith and
practice of each of the participating
denominations, aiming for a balanced
and varied pattern of worship to
maximise the riches of each tradition.

Alongside the Church, we run
regular activities in the interest of our
local residents, most of which are in
partnership with other local community
groups.
